a zero 1 media device - meropia (lost), dark industrial dance music

meropia is an industrial/electro hydrid between DEvS and Mike Palace. Originally DEvS wrote the song "Nothing" and recorded it by himself, while e-mailing a copy of the MIDI file to Mike. Changing the sounds and bmp, Mike altered the original. From there, equipment and talents were brought together and meropia was formed. Traditional instruments are sampled and resurrected to form an interesting blend of modern electronic music. Unique synthized sounds form a back bone from which elemental structures occur. One can hear many of the modern trends of electronic music with homeage still played to its hip-hop beginnings. The future of electronic music. meropia has begun to perform live, mainly focusing on improvisation techniques. Recent studio work involves dance/noise oriented instrumentals.
